CCM specializes in utilizing today's advanced communication technology to design an interesting and exciting presentation format for each clients' specific needs. Our expertise includes the live broadcast of surgery from medical centers to multiple sites worldwide using microwave, satellite or T-1 transmission, simultaneous translation, as well as interactive audience polling.

Coordination of Educational Content

  • Confer with course directors to identify needs and establish educational goals, objectives and plan effective course schedule.
  • Prepare and disseminate all faculty correspondence.
  • Prepare and submit CME application.
  • Maintain CME planning minutes.
  • Meet regularly (via telephone) with course director and director of CME of joint sponsoring organization to discuss planning progress.

Industry/Support/Exhibit Management

  • Identify and assist with obtaining industry funding.
  • Facilitate procurement of educational grants by sending proper correspondence, maintaining database and completing all ACCME required paperwork.
  • Coordinate all aspects of exhibit registration, set-up, billing, collections, and post conference follow-up.
  • Prepare appropriate recognition of industrial support.

Promotion

  • Create and implement complete promotional plan, to include direct mail, Internet and journal listings, journal display ads, and unique web site.
  • Design and facilitate production of promotional materials.
  • Identify and obtain mailing lists, and facilitate direct mail.

Graphic Design

  • Create and design graphics to brand the meeting.
  • Design and create promotional materials to include brochures, display advertisements, flyers and posters.
  • Design and create meeting materials including CD or hard copy syllabus covers, badge stock, etc. to maintain a consistent and cohesive look for the meeting.

Registration

  • Receive, process, and confirm all registrations on-line, or via mail and fax.
  • Provide on-site registration of faculty, attendees and exhibitors to include pre-printed badges.

Social Events

  • Select site, create budget, plan menu, issue invitations and track RSVPs.
  • Facilitate transportation and on-site management for faculty dinners and other social events.

Preparation of Course Materials

  • Collect and compile abstracts and other pertinent materials for inclusion in syllabus, hard copy, CD ROM, or internet based.
  • Compose additional informational pages.
  • Coordinate production and shipping of syllabus.

Conference Management

  • Negotiate hotel contract to the satisfaction of the client.
  • Plan catered functions.
  • Coordinate all specifications for meeting set-up and audiovisual needs.
  • Handle faculty and staff reservations.
  • Complete on-site management.

Budget Preparation and Financial Management

  • Prepare realistic budget to cover all conference costs, including consulting costs.
  • Complete budget management of expenditures and income from registrations, grants and exhibit fees.
  • Provide periodic and final financial reports.

Live Case Demonstrations

  • Procure service provider to broadcast live case demonstration.
  • Coordinate required special services such as phone line installation, to facilitate transmission between the hotel and hospitals.
  • Assist course directors and faculty with pre-planning and broadcast of live cases.
